Hi!!! My name Mia!!! Thanks for your interest in learning a bit about me. I am a photographer located in San Antonio, Texas. I cover the San Antonio/Austin area and surrounding hill country. Some other things about me:

• I have two dogs, a big one named Chicken and a smaller one named Willie.

• I love to travel and have been to every continent except Antartica.

• I love stationary & hand written letters. I also love curating Spotify playlists.

• I love running, hiking, swimming and basically any form of exercise that allows me to be outside.

• I am very passionate about multimodal transportation.

• My personality type is ENFP.

• I highly value inclusivity, open-mindedness and creativity.

I started taking photos on a DSLR camera in high school for fun and then started taking friends’ grad photos, family photos and couples photos throughout college. I officially formed Mia Olea Garza Photography in 2018. I have learned a lot in that time and formulated a unique style that I am proud of. My photos are candid, true-to-color and full of joy.

I’m also trained in developing and printing 35mm film. I bring my vintage film camera to every photo session to capture a couple of film photos.

I’m a big believer that the best photos happen when you forget the camera is even there— and I’ve perfected my methods to distract you. My photo sessions include getting to know each other, shedding any sense of camera shyness and getting creative together. Each photo session is custom to you, your preferences and what you want to capture. My job is just to make your vision come to life.
